According to a press note released by the Delhi University, “The University has decided to augment and streamline online education by facilitating e-learning support through the Delhi University Computer Centre (DUCC) by creating and integrating online platform and networking resources and facilities for use by all the university departments, centres, colleges, and other affiliated bodies under ‘OneDU’ – online eDUcation flagship programmes.”
To meet the objective of the programme, OneDU Apex Committee has been formed with representation from teaching and non-teaching communities to liaison with the departments, centres, colleges and DUCC.
Looking at the current situation due to the COVID-19 situation, the move comes from the university to deal with such unprecedented times and to ensure that learning never stops even during such times.
Besides this, due to the nation-wide lockdown, the DU has decided to hold online classes for different programmes starting from August 10, 2020.
