DU UG admission portal records 3,35,547 applications; 1,47,949 register for PG admissions
Aspiring candidates can register for UG courses till August 31, while the PG admission portal will close on August 21.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi University has received 3,35,547 applications for DU UG admissions 2021, while 1,47,949 candidates have registered for PG admissions till August 18, according to the data released by the official website of Delhi University admissions – admission.uod.ac.in. Furthermore, 21,019 candidates have filled the DU application form 2021 for admissions to M.Phil/Ph.D. programmes.
This means that the DU UG admission portal has recorded 3,35,547 applications in 17 days, while the DU PG admission portal reflects 1,47,949 registered candidates in 24 days.
It must be noted that the DU admission portals for PG and P.hD. admissions opened on July 26, while the DU UG admission portal 2021 has been accessible from August 2. Aspiring candidates can fill the DU application form 2021 till August 31, while the DU admission portal for PG courses will close on August 21.
Last year, on the closing day of the DU application form, 5,63,669 candidates had registered for UG admissions, out of which 3,53,919 had paid the registration fee. Besides this, the DU PG admission portal saw 1,83,674 students registering for admissions, out of which 1,46,996 had paid the fee.
Earlier, Careers360 had reported that the DU first cut off 2021 will be released by October 1 and the admissions against the first round will commence from October 4. It must be noted that the DU first cut off list 2021 was slated to be out between September 7 to 10, however, taking into account the results of CBSE compartment exams, optional and improvement examinations and NEET and JEE, the dates for DU cutoff list 2021 have been pushed further.
Delhi University admissions 2021 to most of the undergraduate programmes will be offered based on merit of the qualifying exam marks. The DU cut off 2021 will be derived after taking into consideration the best of four marks of the students in Class 12 th . This year 70,000 seats will be on offer for DU UG admissions, while for admissions to PG programmes, the varsity will offer 20,000 seats.
