Download NowNEW DELHI: The All India Students’ Association (AISA) has released its manifesto for the upcoming Delhi University Students' Union (DUSU) Elections 2023. The AISA manifesto promises student welfare and affordable, accessible, inclusive, and quality education for DU students.

The DUSU elections 2023 will be conducted on September 22 after a four-year gap. The All India Students’ Association has called upon all students to “ uphold student democracy and reject hooliganism and intimidation on campus.”
Key highlights of the AISA manifesto for the upcoming DUSU elections 2023.

Dilution of courses, as per which the content of the core honors papers be returned and VAC and SEC courses will be scrapped.

The AISA has demanded changes in the four-year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) model. ASIA's manifesto raises concerns over the withering safety, autonomy, and democracy of women and gender minorities, the need for affordable hostels and quality housing, and increasing fares of metro and issues faced by local students.
The AISA announced the names of candidates for the upcoming DUSU elections 2023. Aiyesha Ahmad Khan will contest for the post of president while Anushka Chaudhary is the candidate for the post of vice president. Aditya Pratap Singh and Anjali Kumari will be vying for the post of secretary and joint secretary.
