BTech Exams 2025: JEE Main application correction dates out; MHT CET syllabus, VITEEE exam date

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 on March 23.  GUJCET 2025 exam will be held in offline mode.

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are considering a potential fee increase. To address the matter, the Ministry of Education has formed a committee to review the fee structure. A member of the committee confirmed that the findings will be presented to the IIT Council for further deliberation.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has commenced the JEE Main 2025 registration for session 1. The JEE Main 2025 registration link is active at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

No, candidates are not required to upload the category certificate during the JEE Mains 2025 registration process. Instead, they are required to provide:

• Certificate number
• Date of issue
• Issuing authority

Candidates can reset JEE Mains 2025 password through the following ways

• Using security question and its answer chosen during JEE Mains 2025 registration. 
• Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to the registered mobile number. 
• Using a reset link sent via email to registered email address.

The VITEEE 2025 registration last date is March 31. The VITEEE 2025 registration form can be accessed at viteee.vit.ac.in. 

According to NTA, if a candidate initially passed the Class 12 examination in one state but later attempted improvement in another, their eligibility code should be based on the state of their original qualification, not the improvement attempt. Candidates who completed Class 12 through NIOS should select their eligibility state according to the location of their study center.

There is no age limit for candidates participating in JEE Main 2025. Individuals who have completed their Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2023 or 2024, or those who are set to appear in 2025, are eligible to take the JEE Main 2025 exam, regardless of their age.

The last date to apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 is November 22. To complete the JEE Main application form for 2025, candidates must submit a photograph, signature, marksheet, and other necessary documents. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2025 application form, which includes details on the required documents along with their respective file sizes and formats for registration.

The marking scheme for the exam is as follows: candidates will receive three marks for each correct answer and lose one mark for each incorrect answer in all sections, including physics, chemistry, English proficiency, logical reasoning, and mathematics/biology. The exam has a total of 450 marks.

IIT Madras, IIM Udaipur, and IIIT Nagpur will have student hostels built and operated by private companies under a first-of-its-kind public-private partnership (PPP) model. The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have decided not to disclose the highest package in the upcoming placements 2025-26. IIT placements 2025 commences from December 1. The decision has been taken to reduce stress amongst students. An IITian told Careers360 that the disclosure of packages in crores was setting high expectations and creating an environment of stress and pressure. 

SRM Institute of Science and Technology has commenced the registration for SRMJEEE 2025. The last date to apply for phase 1 of SRM Engineering Entrance Examination is April 16. The institute will conduct SRMJEEE 2025 phase 1 exam from April 22 to 27, 2025.

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has released the MHT CET 2025 syllabus for engineering and technology, pharmacy, BPlanning, and master courses. The MHT CET exam date 2025 will be announced on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. 

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) conducts VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2025 for admission to its engineering programmes. VIT has four campuses at Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, and Bhopal. The institute ranked 11th in engineering category in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024 ranking. It has attained a NAAC grade of A+++. 

The National Testing Agency recently informed Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 candidates that the technical issues faced by them are due to mismatch in their name on their Aadhar ID and Class 10 certificate. Students applying for JEE Main 2025 are advised to close the pop-up message on Aadhaar card and enter their name exactly as it appears on the card. 

The Joint Admission Board (JAB) has restored the number of attempts in JEE Advanced 2025 to two and the previous JEE Advanced 2025 eligibility criteria. JEE Advanced 2025 3rd attempt has been dropped. Earlier, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur announced 3 attempts in the exam.
