NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur has delayed the release of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 admit card. IIT Kharagpur official said they are reviewing the situation.

The GATE 2022 admit card was to be out on January 3 but was rescheduled to be released on January 7. Later, IIT Kharagpur postponed the GATE admit card release date and informed candidates that the GATE 2022 admit card release date “will be announced shortly”.
The IIT Kharagpur official further said, “The GATE 2022 exam may or may not get postponed.”

GATE 2022 Postponed?
As per the IIT Kharagpur official notice, GATE 2022 exam dates are February 5, 6, 12 and 13. However, due to the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic situation and repeated postponement of exams and events, it is highly likely that the GATE 2022 exam will be postponed. But there is no official confirmation on the GATE 2022 postponement yet.
Candidates who have registered for the GATE 2022 exam are advised to check the official website gate.iitkgp.ac.in for the latest updates on GATE admit card 2022 date and regarding GATE 2022 exam dates postponement news.
Aspirants have started requesting postponement of GATE 2022 exam on social media owing to the sudden surge in Covid-19, Omicron cases in India. While a section of students demanding clarity on GATE 2022 admit card, GATE 2022 exam dates.
An aspirant said, “Due to increasing cases in India it’s not a right time to conduct Gate 2022 exam we are requesting you to postpone it as soon as possible. In the month of August we need gate score card for admission to master courses so we can delay it.”
