“In test papers AE, AG, BM, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, EE, ES, GE, IN, ME, MN, MT, NM, PE, PI and TF, the General Aptitude section will carry 15 marks and the remaining 85 marks are devoted to the subject component, out of which engineering mathematics will carry 13 marks,” IIT Roorkee said.

GATE qualifying and admission cut-offs

IIT Roorkee will be conducting the exam in multiple sessions. The raw marks obtained by candidates in different sessions will be converted to normalised marks for that particular subject. Subsequently, the raw marks for single session test papers or normalized marks of multiple sessions will be used for computing the GATE score.
