GATE 2025 centre changes from Prayagraj to Lucknow for Feb 15, 16 exams amid Mahakumbh

Try NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) has announced a change in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 exam centers for February 15, 16 exams. Due to the congregation expected at the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, the GATE 2025 exams initially set to be conducted in the city will now take place in Lucknow on the same dates.
The GATE 2025 exam dates are February 1, 2, 15 and 16. The GATE 2025 result date is March 19. The GATE 2025 scorecards will be available for downloading from March 28 to May 31. Earlier too, IIT Roorkee changed the GATE 2025 test centers for February 1, 2 exams due to the Mahakumbh event.
GATE 2025 Exam Centre Change: Fresh admit cards issued
As per IIT Roorkee, fresh GATE 2025 admit cards have been issued for the new centres at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. Candidates are required to enter their enrollment ID and password to download the GATE admit card 2025 . The GATE admit card 2025 will mention details such as candidate's name, photograph, enrollment ID, roll number, signature, GATE 2025 paper code, GATE new exam center and code, exam date, timing and exam day guidelines.

GATE 2025 schedule and shift timings
The GATE exam 2025 will be held in two shifts each day. As per the GATE 2025 exam timings , forenoon session will be held from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (IST) and afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. GATE previous year question papers are available on the official website.
The GATE 2025 Feb 15 exam will be conducted for CY, AE, DA, ES, and PI subjects in the first shift and EC, GE, XH, BM, and EY papers in the second. The GATE 2025 Feb 16 exam will be conducted for CE1, GG, CH, PH, and BT papers in the first shift and CE2, ST, XE, XL, and MN papers in the second.
