NEW DELHI : IIT Bombay has released the GATE COAP 2022 seat allotment result at coap.iitb.ac.in. Applicants can check their COAP 2022 seat allotment result through login ID and password. Candidates who successfully registered for COAP 2022 will be able to check offers made through GATE counseling round 1. The last date to accept the allotment offered through GATE COAP round 1 is May 22.
GATE 2022 exam date was February 5, 6, 12 & 13. Applicants allotted seat in the COAP will have to choose one option from accept & freeze, retain & wait and reject & wait.
GATE COAP 2022 - Option to choose
Option 1 - Accept and Freeze - Applicants allotted seat in the round 1 of GATE COAP allotment and wish to accept the allotted seat have to select this option. Such candidates will not be considered for further rounds and upgradation.
Option 2 - Retain and Wait - Applicants who want to accept allotted seats in round 1 and also want to be considered for upgradation in the subsequent seat allotment rounds of GATE counselling have to select the retain & wait option. In that scenario, candidates will not be considered for rejected COAP offers in the current round. Also, the existing offer will get cancelled if any higher preferred offer is made in the next round.
Option 3 - Reject and Wait - If applicants do not want to accept the offer under GATE COAP 2022 and wish to be considered for upgradation have to select the reject & wait option.
The exam authority will release the GATE COAP 2022 round 2 seat allotment result on May 27. The last date to accept the offer through GATE COAP round 2 offer will be May 29.
