GIM starts admission for PGDM programme; Increases seats to 540

Goa Institute of Management has started admission for its PGDM 2022-24 course. The admission process will go on till January 2022.

NEW DELHI: The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has commenced admission for Post Graduate Diploma in management programme 2022-24 batch. It has increased the seats from 480 to 540 for the course.

“The new batch of 2022 – 24 will see 540 students embark on a learning journey with the prestigious management school across its various programmes,” an official statement from GIM said.

Applications for admission for the academic year of 2022-24 started on October 7 and will continue until early-January of 2022.

GIM offers several programmes which include the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Post Graduate Diploma in Healthcare Management (PGDM (HCM) as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Big Data Analytics (PGDM (BDA).

“With the aim of developing future-ready, data-fluent managers who are fully prepared to handle the next stage of data-driven decision making, the PGDM-BDA was established. In 2020 GIM introduced a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Banking Insurance Financial Services (PGDM – BIFS),” the GIM statement said.

Ajit Parulekar, Director, GIM said: “After 11 years we are increasing the intake capacity of our flagship PGDM programme from 240 to 300. The total number of students we will be taking in for all our full-time PGDM programs this year will be a little over 540 students, up from 480 last year.”

After having virtual classes for over a year due to the pandemic, the management school has now commenced classes in a blended mode and has students back on campus. Students have to be fully vaccinated and submit a vaccination certificate, negative RT-PCR test report and sign an undertaking to follow quarantine norms as well as covid protocols prior to returning to campus.
