Gujarat Class 9, 11 annual exams rescheduled now; April 12 paper to be held on April 21

Gujarat school-level annual examinations 2025 for Class 9, 11 is scheduled to be held from April 7 to April 19, 2025. The schedule was revised to avoid overlapping with the Gyansadhana Merit Scholarship examination.
NEW DELHI: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, (GSEB) has rescheduled the Gujarat school-level annual examinations 2025 for Class 9 and Class 11 students. The Gujarat 9th, 11th annual examination 2025 , initially scheduled to be held on April 12 will now be conducted from April 21, 2025.
The change in schedule has been made to avoid a clash with the Gyansadhana Merit Scholarship examination, which is scheduled for April 12, 2025. The scholarship exam will be conducted from 12 pm to 2:30 pm across all districts.
“As per the letter of the State Examination Board mentioned in reference (2), the Gyansadhana Merit Scholarship Examination is scheduled to be conducted on April 12, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm across all districts of the state. Considering the number of candidates and examination centres involved, a request has been made to reschedule the Class 9 and Class 11 annual school-level examinations scheduled for April 12, 2025,” the official notice said.

According to the academic calendar for 2024-25 issued by the state education department, Gujarat Class 9 and Class 11 annual exams 2025 are being held from April 7 to April 19. However, schools have been directed to hold the April 12 paper on April 21 instead.
Schools prepare their subject-wise timetables and question papers either through their respective school development complexes or individually. The revised date has been announced to ensure uniformity across all secondary and higher secondary schools in the state.
