NEW DELHI: Haryana School Education Board has implemented a new curriculum for Classes 9 to 12 for the academic session 2024-25. Stakeholders can download the new curriculum for Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12 through the official website, bseh.org.in. Haryana board chairman VP Yadav said the changes have been to provide quality education to the students.
Yadav said the new curriculum has been designed in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020). It has been prepared by more than 100 subject experts, the board said. Key resources have also been appointed to make the teaching-learning process more easy, simple, logical and effective and to make the format of question papers efficiency-based, it added.
This curriculum was prepared by the Haryana Board after organising seven workshops. “In the new curriculum, special emphasis has been laid on the fact that teachers should prepare lesson plans and teach in the class by following the curriculum according to the intellectual capacity of the students, so that the students develop,” HSEB chairman VP Yadav said.
He said one subject-wise model question paper and phased evaluation plan will be prepared for Classes 9 to 12 according to the new format. The plan will soon be uploaded on the official website of the board.
