Haryana: Winter holidays declared in all schools; Class 10, 12 to attend classes

Directorate school education has declared winter holidays for all government and private schools in Haryana from January 1 to 15, 2023.
NEW DELHI: The Haryana government, directorate school education has declared winter holidays for all government and private schools in the state from January 1 to 15, 2023. However, in view of board examinations, class 10 and 12 students will have to attend classes from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The directorate has also informed that the teachers conducting extra classes will get paid or earned leaves in return as per rules. The directorate of information, public relations and languages department took to twitter to announce the Haryana school winter vacations. "Winter vacation has been declared in all schools of Haryana from January 1, 2023 to January 15, 2023. However, in view of the board examinations, classes for class 10th and 12th will be held from 10 am to 2 pm. Teachers taking extra classes will get earned leave in return as per rules," read the tweet.

Similarly, Delhi government also declared holidays for all schools in Delhi for two weeks from January 1, 2023. However, remedial sessions for Class 9 to Class 12 will be held from January 2 to 14 to revise the syllabi and enhance students' learning-level academic performance.
