HBSE declares class 12 result; 63.84% students clear the exam

The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has declared the Class 12th result today. The result of exams, held between March 7 to April 2, will be made available to students on the official website after 5 pm. The overall pass percentage this year is 63.84% which is slightly lower than the last year’s at 64.5%. Of the total students who sat for Haryana 12th exams, 72.38% girls and 57.10% boys passed the exam and 49,163 got compartment. The pass percentage of private schools is 64.02% while that of government schools is at 63.62%. In rural areas, 64.75% students cleared class 12 while in urban areas it is 62.04%.
To check their results candidates have to visit the official website, type in their roll numbers and click o submit. Candidates should keep the printout for future use.
Last year, Haryana board made it mandatory to have Aadhaar card while applying for the board examinations.
About the Board
Established in the year 1969, HBSE had its headquarters at Chandigarh and later on shifted to Bhiwani. The Board held its first board examination in the year 1970 at matriculation level. It started conducting board examinations middle school examinations for improvement of educational standards at middle schools level. Under the new scheme of education, the board adopted 10+2 pattern in the year 1987 and have been conducting the vocational level examination at the intermediate level.
