HCU PhD Admission 2023: Hyderabad University interview process delayed; know schedule

The interview round for HCU PhD admission 2023 is slated between July 18 to 22. The OMR challenge window closed for admission.
NEW DELHI: University of Hyderabad recently published the OMR keys of PhD entrance exam held for admission to 41 subjects. Although the list of candidates selected for interview was scheduled to be notified on July 8, the process has been delayed. Candidates were allowed to raise objections against the OMR key till July 7 through the official website, acad.uohyd.ac.in.
As per the schedule announced earlier, the interview round for HCU PhD admission 2023 is slated between July 18 to 22. The institute announced to start the classes for PhD students from August 14 for the academic year 2023-24.
The merit list for PhD admission will be prepared based on the performance in the written test and interview put together. However, it has decided not to have any cut-off marks in the entrance examination or interview this year.

Tie-breaking method
The university will follow the criteria given below in case two or more candidates score the same marks.
First criterion : Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree or other examination. If the final result is not available, then the marks up to the 2nd year will be taken into account.
Second criterion: Marks obtained in the degree examination immediately preceding the qualifying degree examination.
Third criterion: Marks obtained in the next lower public examination.
