Download NowThe Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 board examination results 2026 today, May 13. Students can check their marks and download provisional scorecards through CBSE’s official websites and online result platforms. CBSE conducted the Class 12 examinations this year from February 17 to April 10 for 120 subjects at 7,574 centres across the country. For the 2026 evaluation cycle, CBSE implemented its digital On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, under which scanned answer sheets were assessed electronically by examiners. The board adopted the technology-driven process to streamline evaluation, minimise manual intervention and improve consistency in marking.

CBSE 12th Result 2026: How to check on DigiLocker
Students can follow the steps below to check their CBSE Class 12 results on DigiLocker;
- Visit the DigiLocker website or open the DigiLocker mobile application.
- Log in using your registered mobile number, Aadhaar-linked credentials, or username and security PIN.
- On the homepage, go to the “Education” section or search for CBSE documents.
- Select the option for “CBSE Class 12 Marksheet 2026.”
- Enter the required details, including roll number and school code, to access the marksheet.
- Download and save the digital scorecard for future admission and verification purposes.
How to check CBSE results on UMANG app?
To check results, students must download or install the UMANG app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Log in or sign up using your mobile number.
- Enter your name and set up your profile.
- Once on the homepage, use the Search Bar at the top and type "CBSE".
- Select the official CBSE service from the results.
- Look for the "Categories" section and select "Education" to find the CBSE tab.
- Inside the CBSE section, click on "12th" or "Marksheet/Results."
- Choose "Class XII", select year
- Input your roll Number, school Number, and admit card ID as mentioned on your official admit card.
- Click on the "Submit" or "Get Result."
- Result will open up on screen
- Go through the same and download it
How to check CBSE results through SMS?
CBSE will announce the official SMS number and format shortly
- Open the SMS app on your mobile phone
- Type the message in the format prescribed by CBSE, usually: CBSE 12 (space) roll number
- Send the SMS to the number announced by CBSE
The CBSE Class 12 marksheets available online are provisional in nature, and students need to get the original certificates from their respective schools.
