HP CET 2026 exam schedule out for BTech, BPharma, MBA; college entrance test on May 10

The HP CET 2026 will be conducted in dual shifts. The morning session will be conducted from 9 am to 12:15 pm, whereas the afternoon shift will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm.
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University has announced the schedule for HP Common Entrance Test (HPCET 2026) for admission to its various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the academic session 2026-27.
The technical university will conduct the HP CET 2026 for direct entry to BTech and BPharma programmes on May 10. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9 am to 12:15 pm.
The pen and paper-mode HP CET 2026 exam for direct admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), and MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management (MBA T&HM) will take place on May 10 from 2 pm to 4 pm.
HPCET 2026 is a college entrance exam conducted by the HP Technical University for admission to UG, PG courses in its affiliated colleges, institutes and university schools and off-campus.

HP CET 2026: Admission criteria
The university has not issued any date for commencement of registration process for HP CET 2026. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the HP CET 2026 through the official website at himtu.ac.in.
The college entrance test HP CET 2026 question paper will carry 150 questions worth 600 marks. Candidates will have to obtain a minimum passing mark to be eligible for admission.
As per the admission criteria, students will be given seats to various colleges or institutions affiliated to HP Technical University on the basis of marks obtained in HP CET 2026. The university will declare a merit list of all qualified candidates.
In addition, there will be a separate merit list for JEE Main candidates. Those who will qualify HP CET 2026 will be called for counselling and the admission process.
