HPTU extends HPCET 2026 counselling registration deadline for UG, PG admissions

HP CET Counselling 2026: Candidates planning to secure BTech, BPharm, BSc, including MBA, MCA, MSc seats can submit their counselling form by July 7 up to 5 pm.
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has extended the deadline to submit the HPTU admission-cum-counselling form 2026 for admission to various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. Candidates who qualified the HP Common Entrance Test (HPCET) can fill and submit the counselling form through the official website at himtu.ac.in.
Those aiming to secure BTech (direct entry), BPharmacy (direct entry), BSc HMCT, BHMCT, BBA and BCA admissions can submit the HP CET 2026 counselling form by July 7 up to 5 pm.
Candidates looking forward to admission to MBA , MBA (tourism and HM), MCA, MSc Physics, MSc Environmental Sciences, MA, MSc in Yoga and Pharm D programmes can also refer to the similar deadline as given below.
Whereas, applicants for BArchitecture, BTech (lateral entry), BPharmacy (lateral entry), MTech and MPharmacy admissions can submit the counselling form by July 25 up to 5 pm.
HP CET Counselling 2026: How to submit form?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to submit their counselling forms.
- Go to the official website at himtu.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on counselling registration.
- A new page will open.
- Enter HIM access ID or mobile number or others along with password.
- Upload photograph and signature.
- Pay the counselling fee through net banking, debit or credit card.
- Your counselling form will be submitted.
The HPCET 2026 exam was held in a pen-and-paper mode on May 9 and 10 and the results were declared on May 21.
