Students preparing for JEE Main and NEET are so much in anxiety and stress regarding the new NEET and JEE Main 2020 exam dates. The exams were postponed due to the nationwide lockdown borne out of the Covid-19 pandemic. As many as 15 lakh students appear for NEET and around 9 lakh for JEE Main every year. Students can expect that the new exam dates of these exams will be announced today by the minister during the live webinar. The minister also held a live session last month with parents where he tried to answer their queries about exams and the new academic session which was a huge success.
The HRD minister has been actively engaged with students ever since the lockdown was imposed. The ministry came up with an alternate academic calendar for schools, which was developed by the NCERT and also issued guidelines for colleges and universities for new academic sessions prepared with the help of expert committees.
