ICAI CA Inter May 2023 exam postponed to May 20 in Karnataka

ICAI informed the decision to reschedule the CA inter exam 2023 was taken due to the general election to the Legislative Assembly in Karnataka.
NEW DELHI: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has postponed ICAI CA May 2023 examination in Karnataka. The CA intermediate exam 2023 will now be held on May 20, 2023. The ICAI informed about the CA Inter exam postponement on the official website, icai.org.

Earlier, the ICAI CA May exam 2023 was scheduled to be held on May 10. The institute informed that the decision to reschedule the CA inter exam 2023 was taken due to the general election to the Legislative Assembly in the state.
The Chartered Accountants Intermediate course exam for Group I paper – 4 Taxation scheduled to be held on 10th May, 2023, is rescheduled to May 20, it said.
The exam scheduled to be held in examination centres at Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bellary, Bengaluru, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Gadag, Hassan, Haveri, Hubli, Kalaburgi, Kolar, Koppal, Mandya, Mangalore, Mysore, Raichur, Shimoga, Sirsi, Tumakuru, Udupi and Vijayapura stands postponed, the official notice read.
Candidates who registered successfully for the exam must note that the exam will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM on May 20 at the same exam centre allotted earlier. The ICAI CA May 2023 admit card issued earlier will be considered valid, it said.
The institute clarified that the CA Inter exam dates 2023 for the May session will remain unchanged for the other cities and exam centres. “There will be no change in the schedule of examinations for other cities and dates,” it said.
