ICAI provides opt out option to candidates for CA July exams; Check details here

CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams to be held from July 5 onwards.

NEW DELHI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued a notification stating it will provide an “opt-out option” to candidates, if they themselves or their family member/s who are residing in the same house, are infected with COVID-19. The opt-out option will be available with a carryover of the fee paid and exemptions granted to the November session CA examination.

Candidates can avail the facility through the candidate’s login in the ICAI examination portal. To be eligible for availing the facility, candidates have to submit a positive COVID-19 RTPCR report, Aadhaar card and self-declaration form.

Note: For the CA Final and Intermediate (IPC) examinations (old course), the last attempt shall be extended to November session examinations only for those students who opt-out for May/ July 2021 examinations.
