CMA Foundation, Inter, Final registration last date for December 2023 extended to August 17

Click HereNEW DELHI : The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has extended the last date to register for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) foundation, intermediate and final courses till August 17 for the December 2023 session. Eligible candidates will be able to fill the CMA foundation, inter, final application form on the official website, icmai.in.
“In pursuance of Regulation 20B of Cost and Works Accountants Regulation, 1959, the last date for admission/registration/enrolment to Foundation, Intermediate and Final course stands further extended up to 17th August, 2023 (Thursday) for December-2023 term of examination,” said an official statement from ICMAI.

The institute further informed that the last date to pay the second installment by students already registered in the courses has also been extended to August 17.
For CMA Foundation, the eligibility criteria states that students must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 or appeared in Class 12 or equivalent examination. Those who have completed bachelor’s degree, passed the intermediate course conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India are eligible for CMA Intermediate. Whereas, the eligibility criteria for CMA Final is a qualification in CMA Inter.

The institute earlier announced that CMA exams 2023 under new syllabus will commence from June term while the exams under old syllabus will continue till December 2023. Candidates will have to pay Rs 250 to convert from old syllabus to new syllabus.
Under the new syllabus, ICMAI exempted Common Admission Test (CAT) passed out students from appearing in Business Laws and Ethics (BLE) paper. The exemption is also available to the CAT course part I passed out students.
