IGNOU invites entries for Student Innovation Award 2022
IGNOU: The last date to apply for Student Innovation Award is September 30, 2022.

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has invited entries for the Student Innovation Award (SIA) 2022. All IGNOU students from across the country who have created something innovative in any field are eligible to apply. The application deadline for SIA 2022 is September 30.
Students can download the prescribed application format and guidelines for submitting entries from the IGNOU website: ignou.ac.in.

"Recognizing the importance of Research and Innovation in the overall growth and development of a Nation, the IGNOU has been emphasising the recognition and promotion of Innovator Students in different fields from across the Country. To identify, recognize and nurture the Innovator Students, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites entries for the "Student Innovation Award-2022'," the statement from IGNOU said.
The National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) at IGNOU has been conducting this SIA programme since 2018. Every year the top three winners are awarded trophies, certificates and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. Other than the winners, the remaining innovators get the chance to participate in various types of training that enable them to advance their innovations to a new level.
