IGNOU invites online applications for AICTE-approved management programmes

NEW DELHI: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced online applications for admission to its AICTE-approved management programmes - Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Administration (Banking and Finance) (MBF).

According to the official notification from IGNOU , the last date to apply for these AICTE-approved management programmes is September 30.

“Programme details like eligibility, duration, fee, courses etc. are available on the online admission portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.,” the statement from IGNOU said.

Further, IGNOU also said that apart from the management programmes, admissions are open for PG diploma programmes in management - PG Diploma in marketing management (PGDMM); PG Diploma in financial management (PGDFM); PG Diploma in human resource management (PGDHRM); and PG Diploma in operations management (PGDOM).

The last date for online submission of applications for these PG diploma programmes is September 15.

IGNOU admission 2021

Recently, IGNOU has also extended the validity period of registration for the June 2021 examination to December 2021 as a special case in view of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Students who have not completed any of the evaluation details like practical examination of lab courses, assignments, projects, dissertation, internship, etc. can also complete them by December 2021, as per the IGNOU.

Further, IGNOU stated that there will be no change in the university term-end examination for final year or end semester students. The exam will be conducted till September 9 for the “final year or end semester students of Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes subject to fulfilling the university norms on admission year and registration validity period”.

Moreover, IGNOU has again extended the deadline for registration and re-registration for July admission 2021 to September 15. Earlier, the last date to apply was August 31.
