IGNOU PhD Admissions 2024: Candidates have to submit an application fee of Rs 1,000 to register for the entrance exam.
NEW DELHI : The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the admissions for PhD from today, October 30. Interested applicants can now register for the IGNOU PhD Admissions on the official portal, ignouadm.samarth.edu.in. Candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000 to submit their application form.
As per the official notification, candidates having a valid UGC NET with JRF or a valid UGC NET score 2024 are eligible to apply for IGNOU PhD admissions fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed in the University Grants Commission (UGC). Recently, IGNOU was ranked number 1 under the new open university category in the ministry of education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking.
IGNOU PhD Admissions 2024: How to register?
The steps to register for IGNOU PhD Admissions 2024 are as follows:

Visit the official IGNOU samarth portal, ignouadm.samarth.edu.in

Click the ‘New registration’ button in the applicant login area

Fill in the details such as your name and password in the appropriate columns correctly.

Your username will be sent to you through e-mail and SMS.

Submit all the required documents in a scanned format.

Pay the registration fee via credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Submit the online application form.
-
Download and save it for future reference.

Scanned passport-size photograph (less than 100 KB)

All the supporting documents (Date of Birth, relevant mark sheets, degree certificates, caste certificate, income certificate, disability certificate, UGC NET-JRF certificate, UGC-NET Scorecard, etc) (less than 500KB)
