IIFT Admissions 2024: Registrations open for PhD management programme

NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is now accepting applications for its PhD management programme for the academic year 2024-25. The programme, available in both full-time and part-time modes, is open to domestic as well as overseas candidates for its Delhi and Kolkata campuses.
Programme details and eligibility
The PhD management programme covers various areas such as finance, organisational behaviour and human resources (OB and HR), strategy, global trade operations and logistics, information technology (IT) application management, marketing, and operations and supply chain management.

Admission process and important dates
The admissions process includes an offline entrance exam followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. The last date for submission of online applications and the statement of purpose is June 15, 2024. Admit cards for the offline entrance examination will be available on June 26, 2024, with the exam scheduled for June 30, 2024. The result of the entrance examination will be declared in the second week of July 2024, followed by personal interviews in the fourth week of July 2024, and the final results will be declared in the second week of August 2024.
Scholarship details and application fee
Full-time PhD scholars at IIFT are eligible for a fellowship of Rs 37,000 per month plus house rent allowance (HRA) for the first two years and Rs 42,000 per month plus HRA for the remaining three years. Performance evaluations will be conducted biannually for the continuation of the scholarship. The application fee is Rs 2500 for the general/OBC/EWS category, Rs 1250 for SC/ST/PWD, and Rs 8500 for foreign nationals/NRIs.
