IIM Ahmedabad to hold 59th convocation ceremony on March 30

SEBI chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch will be the chief guest of IIM Ahmedabad convocation ceremony 2024 which will be held from 6 pm to 8.45 pm.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM Ahmedabad) will hold its 59th convocation on March 30. Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch will be the chief guest of the ceremony which will begin at 6 pm and end at 8.45 pm.
The lamp lighting ceremony will be followed by an address from IIM Ahmedabad board of governor chairperson Pankaj Patel. Students will be conferred doctoral and MBA degrees while meritorious students will be awarded medals from 6.30 pm to 8 pm. Pankaj Patel will award the degrees while SEBI chairperson will facilitate meritorious students.
Buch will deliver the convocation address from 8.30 pm to 8.40 pm. IIM Ahmedabad director Bharat Bhasker will then deliver the concluding address. Following the National Anthem the convocation will end at 8.45 pm.

IIM Ahmedabad convocation ceremony 2024 guest Buch has served as SEBI whole time member till October 4, 2021. She has handled the market regulation department, market intermediaries regulation and the supervision department, integrated surveillance department, investment management department, department of economic and policy analysis, office of investor assistance and education, National Institute of Securities Markets and information technology department.
IIM Ahmedabad is one of the premier institutes of the country that has been accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance by the education ministry in 2017. It is had been ranked no 1 amongst B-schools in India by the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) since 2018.
