IIM Bangalore opens National Student Case Competition 2026 registration at iimb.ac.in; apply by Sept 7

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) has opened applications for its National Student Case Competition 2026. The competition is open for undergraduate and postgraduate students from any college or university in India. Students can submit the entries to participate in the National Student Case Competition through the official website at iimb.ac.in.

Students applying for the all-India competition should have at least 5 members in their team. They can register by September 7 up to 6 pm. The winner team will receive a prize pool worth Rs 5 lakh, according to the official notification.

The eligibility criteria states that students currently enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s programmes at any recognised college or university in India can apply for the competition.

National Student Case Competition 2026: Final test on Sept 15

This also includes from any field such as management, public policy, law, economics, design, and social sciences. The announcement for the competition was made by the Centre for Digital Public Goods (CDPG) at IIM Bangalore , along with the support from Perfios - Anumati Account Aggregator.

The competition is based on real-world challenges related to India’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). Each team must have at least 5 students and registration could be done for full-time or part-time programmes.

The management institute has suggested participating teams to be gender-balanced and encouraged them to include students from different academic years and programmes.

Each student can be the member in only one team and there is no restriction on the number of registration from students.

The institute will shortlist teams and announce the results by September 15, while the final competition will be conducted on September 30 at the campus.

According to the institute, the competition will give students an opportunity to develop solutions to digital public infrastructure challenges and share their ideas to policy makers, academics and practitioners.

Students will also be interacting with the experts and they can receive participation certificates.
