IIM Raipur awards degrees to 595 MBA, executive MBA graduates at 14th annual convocation

IIM Raipur Convocation 2025: Nine doctoral degrees, including seven from FPM and two from EFPM, were awarded, while seven students received gold medals for academic excellence and overall performance.
NEW DELHI: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur held its 14th annual convocation on campus, where degrees were awarded to 595 students. The graduating batch included students from the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Master of Business Administration (E-MBA), Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), and Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM).
Prabha Narasimhan, managing director and chief executive officer of Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, was the chief guest and conferred degrees to 369 students from the regular full-time MBA programme.
A total of 344 students received degrees from the MBA 2023–25 batch and 25 from the MBA (International Student Exchange) 2022–24 batch—along with 216 students from the E-MBA batch. Nine doctoral degrees were also awarded, including seven from the FPM and two from the EFPM programme.

Addressing the students, Puneet Dalmia, Chairperson of the Board of Governors, IIM Raipur, said, “Dear students, your journey here has been more than just academics—it has been a transformative experience of personal growth. As you step forward, you carry the legacy of this institution, one rooted in innovation, ethical leadership, and global collaboration.”
IIM Raipur’s training success
According to the official press release, IIM Raipur continued to strengthen its commitment to entrepreneurship and Executive Learning and Development (EL&D). Over 2,000 participants were trained through more than 45 programmes.
These included a six-month course for Navy officers and the Chintan Shivir for Cabinet Ministers. Flagship courses such as the Senior Management Programme and General Management Programme witnessed strong participation.
Campus expansion under CSR initiative
The institute further informed that its financial foundation has strengthened considerably, with academic receipts rising from Rs 58 crore in 2022 to Rs 102 crore in 2025. Cash and investments have touched Rs 289 crore.
The Phase 2 campus expansion has received a Rs 101 crore commitment under corporate social responsibility (CSR), marking a significant step forward in infrastructure and capacity building.
