NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will close the MTech admissions 2025 registration window with late fee payment on April 16. Eligible students having qualifying Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) scores can apply for admissions through the official website, iitb.ac.in

Candidates will also have to register on the Common Offer Admission Portal (COAP) online. Candidates will be allotted seats based on GATE scores. IIT Bombay closed the registration window without the late fee payment on April 11.
As per the IIT Bombay admission brochure 2025-26, the application fee for an extended period for women and SC, ST, PwD category candidates is Rs 650, and for other category candidates is Rs 800. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form.
Candidates having valid GATE scores can apply for admission to MTech courses. However, apart from having a GATE score, admissions to a few courses will be based on separate written tests or personal interviews.

The university will conduct the SET 2025 exam on May 5 for and 11 for SET test 01 and 02 respectively, in a single shift from 9 am to 10 am. The entrance test will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.
