IIT JAM 2024 registration ends today at jam.iitm.ac.in; fees, qualifying marks

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will close the registration window of IIT Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM 2024) today. Candidates who want to apply for postgraduate programmes in the Indian Institutes of Technology can apply on the official website, jam.iitm.ac.in.

The IIT Madras is conducting the JAM 2024 exam for admission to MSc, MSc Tech, MS Research, MSc.-MTech dual degree, Joint MSc - PhD, MSc - PhD dual degree in 23 IITs and other participating institutes.
Candidates applying for the JAM should have secured a bachelor’s degree. Aspirants will have to submit proof of graduation before the deadline. Candidates belonging to General and OBC (NCL) categories should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 out of 10 CGPA or CPI in aggregate without
rounding off. However, 5% relaxation in qualifying marks will be granted to candidates belonging to SC/ST and PwD categories.
Students of unreserved and OBC category will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,800. For two papers, they will have to pay Rs 2,500 as registration fee. However, the registration fee for candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, and female aspirants will be Rs 900 for one paper and Rs 1,250 for two papers.
