NEW DELHI, AUGUST 6: India Post has invited applications for recruitment of GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) posts for Punjab, Karnataka, Kerala, Assam, Gujarat and Bihar circles. Through this recruitment process, the authority will select a total of 10,066 candidates as Gramin Dak Sevak. Eligible candidates can apply for India Post Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) postal recruitment 2019-20 through appost.in/gdsonline from August 5, 2019 to September 4 2019.

Before applying for the available vacancies, candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

10+ qualification required with passing marks in Mathematics and English from any Board.

Candidate has been studied the local language of the above-mentioned states at least till 10th as compulsory or elective subject declared by the state government.

Candidate should have a computer training certificate of a minimum of 60 days from any recognised computer training institute.

Candidate’s age should be between 18 years to 40 years.

Candidates falling under OBC and SC/ST categories get age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
While filling the form please make sure that you enter your details like Name, Age, Date of Birth, Address and Educational Qualifications carefully. Ensure to keep your bank details read in case you need to pay the application fees.
The selection will be done on the basis of auto-generated merit list.
