JAC Chandigarh registration commences on June 5, Choice Filling to Start on July 8

NEW DELHI, JUNE 4: Joint Admission Committee will commence the online registration form for JAC Chandigarh B.Tech admission from June 5 onwards. To register, candidates first have to authenticate themselves by providing information like- JEE Main roll no, JEE Main application no, candidate’s name, father’s name and date of birth. Once authenticated, they have to create a password and log-in by using JEE Main roll number and password. The last date to register for the JAC Chandigarh counselling is June 30.

The registration form will carry details like candidate's JEE Main AIR and category, which cannot be changed by the candidates. Along with the registration, candidates will have to pay fee of Rs. 2100 (Rs. 1,050 for SC/ST/PwD candidates) within the prescribed date.

Follow these steps to register for JAC Chandigarh B.Tech admission

• Visit the official website
• Authenticate details and create a password
• Log-in by entering JEE Main roll number and password
• Enter the requisite details and submit it
• Pay the fees either through online (net banking/Credit/Debit Card) or offline (e-challan) mode.

What after registration?

After registration candidates have to personally report to the notified venue for document verification. Once verification is done, candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. The counselling will be held in online mode over four rounds, including spot round. The authorities will allot seats to the candidates based on their JEE Main AIR and choice filled by them. Candidates will be able to fill the choice of colleges and branch for the first round of counselling from July 8 to 11. Choice filling and locking exercise will be done for each counselling round, including spot one.

Through JAC Chandigarh counselling, candidates will be able to get the admission into five participating institutes.
