JAC Delhi 2018 Seat Allotment Result Announced for Round 1

NEW DELHI, June 28: Joint Admission Counselling (JAC), Delhi, has declared the seat allotment result of JAC Delhi 2018 for Round I in online mode on June 28. Allotment of seats is done on the basis of merit of the candidates in JEE Main 2018 Paper I and choices filled by them. In case of B.Arch course, offered by IGDTUW, merit of JEE Main Paper II is being considered. JAC Delhi 2018 will have total six seat allotment rounds, including a spot round. Round II of seat allotment will be done on July 3.

The seat allotment result is available category-wise separately for each of the four participating institutes – DTU, IIIT-D, IGDTUW and NSIT. While all four offers B.Tech courses, B.Arch is offered only by IGDTUW.
Allotted candidates need to download and take a printout of the provisional allotment letter and report at the allotted institute for document verification between June 29 and July 2. At the time of reporting for verification, the candidate needs to submit receipt of part-fee paid at time of registration for counselling. Only post successful document document verification and payment of the balance admission fee will seats be confirmed.

How to apply for upgradation of seats
In case a candidate is happy with the seat that is being offered, the candidate can freeze the seat. However, if the offered seat is not the first-preferred choice the candidate will be automatically considered for up-gradation if there are any vacancies.
If a candidate gets upgraded in subsequent rounds, the candidate is not required to report at the last allotted institute.
