Download EBookNEW DELHI, May 29: IIT Kanpur has released the provisional answer key of JEE Advanced 2018 today i.e., May 29. Candidates can now access the correct answers to all of the questions that were asked in the national level engineering entrance examination. Using the answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their probable scores before the results are announced. The response sheet published on May 25 by the authorities can also be used for this purpose. In case of any objection, the candidates will be able to challenge in online mode.

How to Calculate Scores Using JEE Advanced Answer Key?
The answer key has been released by the concerned authorities of IIT Kanpur. Through the answer key, the candidates can calculate their scores by following the steps listed below:
- The candidates will have to download the answer key of JEE Advanced
- Comparison of the correct responses in the answer key has to be done with the recorded responses of the candidates.
- The official marking scheme has to be followed.
- The total calculated marks is the probable secured score of the candidates in JEE Advanced.
What are the steps to challenge the answer key?
If the candidates find any kind of discrepancies in the released answer key, then they can raise objections in online mode through the candidate portal till May 30, 5 p.m. After checking all of the objections, the authorities will declare their final decision regarding the objections and comments received by them.
What after the answer key is released?
The result of JEE Advanced 2018 will be published on June 10. In the result, the candidates will be able to check their score, rank and qualifying status. Based on the ranking, the candidates will later be allotted seats into IITs through JoSAA.
