JEE Advanced 2024: IIT Delhi to organise open house for qualified female, PwD candidates

NEW DELHI : The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi will organise an open house on June 18 in hybrid mode (online and offline) for female candidates and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) who have qualified the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced) 2024. The open house will be conducted from 9 am to 4 pm. The institute's official YouTube channel, youtube.com/c/IITDelhiOfficial will also live stream the entire session.

The event, organised by the Initiative for Gender Equity and Sensitisation (IGES) and the Office of Accessible Education (OAE) at the Institute, aims to promote diversity and gender equity and encourage aspiring candidates to join IIT Delhi .
During the event scheduled for a day and include interactive sessions, the JEE Advanced 2024 qualified candidates will get an opportunity for one-on-one interaction with the deans and IIT Delhi faculty members representing various academic departments, clarify their doubts about the programmes and courses, and understand the academic and career prospects in various disciplines.
At the open house, students will get to learn about various scholarships, fellowships, and other resources to support their academic journey at the institute. Candidates can also interact with current students, who will share their first-hand experiences of campus life, extracurricular activities, and the supportive community that awaits them.

The attendees will be given a guided tour of the institute during which they can explore the various campus facilities, including the library, hostels, eateries, and other infrastructure. Moreover, at the open house, the JEE candidates can learn about the support systems, accessibility, academic accommodations, and assistive devices offered by the Office of Accessible Education.
