JEE Main 2019: NTA releases important notice for candidates appearing in foreign cities

Try NowNEW DELHI, APRIL 3: National Testing Agency (NTA) has published an important notification for all of those candidates who will be appearing for JEE Main 2019 at the centres outside of India. According to the released notification, the candidates who have selected foreign exam centres are requested to report at their respective venue in Indian Standard Time (IST) as mentioned in the admit card.

The notification states that the authorities have observed that in the January session of JEE Main 2019, some of the candidates abroad reported at their respective examination centres as per the local time of the cities. As a result, these candidates could not attempt the examination since they were not present at the examination centre on time. Therefore, the authorities are announcing yet again that these candidates have to report at their respective exam centres well in advance as per Indian Standard Time (IST). Details about the timing is present in the generated admit card of JEE Main 2019.
JEE Main 2019 will commence from April 7. Paper II (B.Arch) will be conducted on April 7 whereas Paper I (B.Tech) will be conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12, 2019.
