: National Testing Agency is expected to declare the JEE Main 2020 result on September 10. JEE Main result will be released at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The official JEE Main result date has not been announced yet. Candidates will be able to access the NTA JEE Main result 2020 through login portal using their application number and password/date of birth. NTA conducted the JEE Main 2020 exam from September 1 to 6.

The JEE Main 2020 result will have many details such as NTA percentile scores, all India rank and cutoff. Along with the JEE Main result 2020, NTA will also release the rank list which will be prepared after considering the better of the two scores obtained by the candidates in the January and September session.
What is JEE Main 2020 percentile score?
Since the JEE Main exam is conducted in multiple sessions and the difficulty level of the question paper of each session is not the same, NTA follows the normalization procedure to ensure that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of the examination. Note that percentile and percentage are two different things.
Percentile scores are calculated on the basis of the relative performance of all those candidates who appear for the examination. It is obtained after transforming the scores into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of examinees. JEE Main Percentile Scores will be calculated up to 7 decimal places.

How JEE Mains Scores Calculated for JEE Main Result?
The marks obtained by each JEE Main applicant for all correct responses for each subject (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) will be summed up to calculate the raw scores.
