JEE Main 2021 March 17 Shift 1 begins; Know guidelines followed at exam centre

JEE Main March 17 Shift 1 exam has commenced at 9.00 am. All JEE Main 2021 exam day guidelines are being followed at the exam centres. The shift will conclude at 12.00 pm.

NEW DELHI: Day 2 of JEE Main March 2021 exam has started today, March 17 at 9 AM. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main paper 1 March 2021 exam at various exam centres. The authorities are conducting the JEE Main March 2021 exam under the strict implementation of COVID-19 guidelines. The JEE Main 2021 paper will be over at 12 noon.

Standard operating procedures for safety and maintaining all the required standards for hygiene are being implemented before the commencement of the exam. The seating area including monitor keyboard, mouse, webcam, desk and chair is also sanitized. Moreover, all door handles, staircase railing, lift buttons are disinfected.

JEE Main 2021 exam - COVID-19 guidelines

  • Hand sanitisers will be provided at the entry gate and inside the exam premises.
  • Thermo guns will be used to check the body temperature of candidates at the entry of the exam centre of JEE Main 2021.
  • If the body temperature of a candidate is higher than COVID-19 norms, he or she will be required to take an exam in a separate room.
  • Candidates will be provided with a fresh three-ply mask before entry. Students will have to remove the mask worn by them from home and wear the one provided by the authorities.

NTA is conducting JEE Main 2021 March exam from March 16 to 18. The JEE Main paper 1 March exam is being conducted for four days in two shifts daily. The second shift of the day will be held from 3 PM to 6 PM.
