The CSAB 2025 team also shared their ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the JEE Main registration process, with a press conference planned for Mizoram on February 14, 2025.
The primary aim of the conference was to inform students from Nagaland and other North-Eastern states about the opportunities JEE Main offers for admission into premier engineering institutions.
These initiatives aim to boost participation from students across the North East by highlighting the benefits of the State Quota and NEUT category seats and providing the necessary resources to help students succeed.
K Umamaheshwar Rao, Chairman of CSAB 2025 highlighted the potential and talent of students from Nagaland and the broader North-Eastern region. "With focused study, practice, and time management, students can perform well and succeed that will open doors to top institutions through the CSAB 2025 counselling process, helping them secure admission in preferred NIT+ system institutions , based on eligibility. CSAB 2025 team will provide guidance and support during each counselling round with a counselling centre located at the state and multilingual tele help desk located centrally”, Rao said.

The conference also highlighted key features of JEE Main 2025 , including reserved seats, special counselling rounds, and dedicated support systems for students from the North East. The CSAB-NEUT and CSAB special rounds were highlighted as crucial opportunities for students who may not secure a seat in the first few rounds.
These rounds ensure that students from the North East have access to quality education in India’s leading technical institutions.
