NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has ended the second shift of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) January 29 exam at 6 pm. NTA JEE Main 2025 shift 2 exam was held from 3 pm to 6 pm. As per the JEE Mains Jan 29 shift 2 analysis 2025, the exam was comparatively easy in terms of difficulty level. Various coaching experts will release the unofficial answer keys and question paper solutions.

The JEE Mains 2025 exam is being held for undergraduate engineering admissions at top institutions like IITs, NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. Candidates are required to carry their JEE Main admit card 2025 , self-declaration form, valid photo ID, 2 passport size photographs and transparent water bottle to the exam centres.

The NTA has rescheduled the JEE Mains 2025 January 22 exam for 114 candidates from eTalent Exam Center, Peenya, Bengaluru, due to technical issues. The rescheduled JEE Mains 2025 was conducted on January 29 for the affected candidates.

According to candidates who appeared in JEE Mains Jan 29 shift 2 exam 2025, maths was the most challenging section followed by chemistry and physics. The JEE Mains 2025 question paper from coaching centres will be based on memory-based questions collected from candidates. The official JEE Mains answer key 2025 and response sheet will be available on the NTA website after session 1 exam ends.

NTA has also moved the JEE Main 2025 exam centres in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh to Varanasi due to Mahakumbh for January 28, 29, and 30 exams.

So far, the difficulty level of JEE Mains 2025 exam was easy to moderate except for Jan 28 exam. The JEE Mains Jan 28 exam 2025 is considered the toughest so far. According to JEE Mains 2025 Jan 28 exam analysis , maths was difficult and lengthy, chemistry questions were from NCERT.

How many times can you attempt JEE Main 2025?

The JEE Main 2025 is being conducted in two sessions for BTech admissions - January and April. The JEE Main session 1 exams will begin today and will continue till January 30 and JEE Main session 2 exams will commence from April 1 and will end on April 8.

JEE Main January 29 shift 1 exam timings

The NTA will allow entry inside the JEE Main exam centre from 7 am for the morning shift. Candidates appearing in JEE Main January 29 shift 1 exams will have to report at the exam centre along with their admit card and self-declaration form before 8: 30 am. The shift 1 exams will be held from 9 am to 12 noon.
