Attempt NowNEW DELHI : The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main cut-offs at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli saw an increase for major BTech programmes including computer science and engineering, electronics and communication engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering from last year. The institute will admit students to its undergraduate programmes through JEE Main 2025 session 1 slated from January 22 to 31.

The highest JEE Main cut-off at NIT Trichy was recorded at 1,224 for four-year Bachelor of Technology (BTech) CSE programme. Students aspiring to secure a seat in the NIT are required to qualify JEE Main 2025 paper 1 for BE, BTech.
The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the counselling for admission to the BTech programmes at the NITs. The education ministry recently reconstituted the JoSAA 2025 and appointed NIT Rourkela as the coordinator for this year’s counselling.
