JEE Main 2026 City Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the session 1 city intimation slip for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026. Candidates will be able to download the JEE Main 2026 city slip through the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

To download the JEE Main 2026 exam city intimation slip, candidates will have to use their application number and password. The city slip will specify the city where the candidate’s examination centre has been allotted. The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam is scheduled to be held from January 21 to 30.

NTA has extended the photo verification deadline for non-Aadhaar candidates to January 15. The link to upload the certificate in PDF format has been sent to the candidates' registered email ID.

During the JEE Main 2026 application process, candidates were allowed to choose up to four preferred exam cities from within the states mentioned in their present and permanent addresses. The NTA states that it will try to allot an exam city based on the order of preference submitted in the online application form.

However, due to administrative or logistical constraints, candidates may be allotted a city other than their preferred choice. In cases where the number of candidates from a particular city is very low, NTA may also merge one or more cities for exam purposes.

Registration for JEE Advanced 2026 will open for candidates who qualify for JEE Main 2026. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will conduct the computer-based examination on May 17, 2026. As per the schedule, the registration window will be open from April 23 to May 2 on jeeadv.ac.in, admit cards will be released on May 11, and results will be declared on June 1.
