JEE Main paper analysis 2021 for March 16 shift 1; Know difficulty level

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted the JEE Main March 2021 shift 1 exam on March 16, 2021. According to the schedule, shift 1 of the JEE Main March 2021 exam started at 9 AM and ended at 12 PM. All the COVID-19 instructions as per the JEE Main 2021 exam day guidelines were followed at the exam centres. According to students’ reaction, the difficulty level of JEE Main 2021 for March 16 shift 1 was moderate.

Thirty questions from each section (physics, chemistry and mathematics) were asked from various topics. The 30 questions in each section were segregated into 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and 10 integer type questions. • Physics - Questions asked in the physics section were mostly concept-based and the paper was moderate. The questions were distributed from all topics such as Magnetic field, Kinematics, Wave and ray optics, Thermodynamics, etc.

• Chemistry - Questions asked in the chemistry section were easy to moderate in difficulty level and the paper was mostly from the organic topic. Numeral questions were a bit difficult.

• Mathematics - Questions asked in the mathematics section were moderate to difficult. There were questions from Integration, Probability, Matrices, etc.

The NTA conducts JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination) for admission to B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Plan degree programmes offered by the participating institutes. NTA is conducting JEE Main exam 2021 in four sessions - February, March, April, and May. The exam authorities have already concluded the JEE Main February attempt. JEE Main March session is being conducted on March 16, 17 and 18, 2021.
