Jharkhand HC Recruitment 2024: Registration open for 399 stenographer posts; eligibility

NEW DELHI: The High Court of Jharkhand has begun the application process for the recruitment of English Stenographer positions. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the Jharkhand HC recruitment 2024 application form by visiting the official website, jharkhandhighcourt.nic.in. The last date to apply for Jharkhand HC recruitment is March 31.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 399 vacancies, 397 of which are for English stenographers to serve in Jharkhand's civil courts, and the remaining two for the Judicial Academy Jharkhand, Ranchi. The Jharkhand HC recruitment selection process includes dictation test, typing test, and interview. According to the official notice, candidates of only three times the number of vacancies in each category be called for interview.

Jharkhand HC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility

Applicants must have obtained a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university. They must also demonstrate stenography skill with an English word rate of at least 80 words per minute (wpm). Furthermore, candidates must be able to type at least 40 words per minute (wpm) in English on a computer, with mistakes of no more than 5%. Candidates can check the age limit below.

• Unreserved and EWS category: Minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 35 years
• BC-I and BC– II category: Maximum age of 37 years
• Female candidates (Unreserved, EWS, BC-I, and BC-II): Maximum age of 38 years
• ST and SC categories (Male and Female): Maximum age of 40 years.
