Jio Institute Courses: Jio Institute admission started for the postgraduate programme (PGP) in AI and data science and PGP in digital media and marketing communications.

NEW DELHI: Jio Institute has invited applications to its postgraduate programmes (PGP) in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science (DS) and digital media (DM) and marketing communications (MC). These Jio Institute courses are full-time programmes with a duration of one year. Interested candidates can apply by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ link on the Jio Institute official website -- jioinstitute.edu.in. The last date to apply is May 20, 2022.
According to a statement from the Jio Institute, the PGP in AI and DS programme is designed for early-career professionals who aspire to have a career as AI researchers, data scientists, and industrial and societal entrepreneurs. The Jio Institute course will make students learn the theoretical capabilities of the field and also provide the knowledge to create solutions for enterprises and society.
While PGP in DM and MC is designed for early-career professionals who aspire to pursue a career in marketing communications, brand consulting, digital marketing, marketing analytics, and consumer research. The course intends to teach students to manage the customer experience in the digital age by communicating with them.

Applicants should meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for Jio Institute courses of AI and DS, and DM and MC:
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 2500 to attend the Jio Institute Entrance Test (JET) in online mode. JET will include multiple-choice questions including quantitative aptitude and verbal ability and another section on writing skills. Applicants can also submit a valid GRE test score.
Selected candidates will have to go through an online personal interview. The final selection will include "assessment of past academic record, responses to essay questions, statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, the relevance of work experience, extra-curricular activities, awards and accolades, performance in JET and personal interview".
