Karnataka DCET 2024 options entry deadline extended again till July 18

Karnataka DCET Counselling 2024: The details for the first round of seat allotment have been published on the website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the web options entry deadline for the Diploma CET (DCET) 2024 till July 18 by 2 pm. Candidates who qualified the exam can exercise options of colleges and courses at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
Earlier the last for Karnataka DCET 2024 options entry was July 11 which was later extended to July 14. The seat matrix for the architect course, issued by the government on July 16, 2024, along with the seat matrix for senior diploma candidates, is available for candidates' reference. The details for the first round of seat allotment have been published on the website.
As per the official notice, provisions have been made for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) qualified candidates and professional diploma candidates. Eligible candidates should select the prescribed link on the authority's website and record their preferences in order of priority.
During the KCET option entry process, eligible candidates must select their preferred courses and colleges from the options displayed. These options are categorized by college, category, course, and discipline.
There is no limit to the number of options a candidate can enter. Preferences should be listed in order of priority. Before making selections in the online option entry form, candidates should note the college names, courses offered, and cutoff ranks for each particular college.

Candidates can follow the steps given below for the KCET 2024 options entry

Visit the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

On the homepage, click on the “UGCET 2024” link.

Now, click on the “KCET options entry 2024” link.

Enter the CET number and security code.

Fill in preferred choices of courses and colleges and lock the choices.

Submit the options entry form and take a printout for future reference.
