KEA releases draft seat matrix for engineering admissions 2025-26; objections invited

Karnataka Engineering Admissions 2025: KEA has also included new courses and revised intake capacities in private colleges and universities, wherever the state government has issued the necessary approvals or NOC.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued the draft seat matrix for allotment of government seats in professional engineering courses for the academic year 2025-26. The seat matrix has been prepared based on the intake approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
The seat matrix includes government, aided and unaided engineering colleges as well as engineering courses offered by government and private universities that have received AICTE approval. KEA has also included new courses and revised intake capacities in private colleges and universities wherever the state government has issued the necessary approvals or No Objection Certificates (NOC).
The draft seat matrix has been made available on the official website of the KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in for reference by educational institutions and students. The government has also invited objections or suggestions, if any, from the public or educational institutions regarding the draft matrix.
“If there are any errors, objections, or suggestions regarding this draft seat matrix, the public and educational institutions are requested to submit their feedback either in writing to the Secretary, Department of Higher Education, 3rd Gate, 6th Floor, Multi-storeyed Building, Dr B R Ambedkar Road, Bengaluru, or via email to ugseatmatrix2025@gmail.com within seven days,” the official notice said.
