Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission 2021-22 for Class 1: Release date postponed

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has postponed the release date of the first selection list for KVS admission 2021-22 for class 1.
NEW DELHI: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has postponed the KVS class 1 admission list 2021 releasing date due to rise in COVID-19 cases. Earlier, the list was scheduled to be released on April 23, 2021. The revised dates of draw of lots for Class 1 admissions will be released soon.
The official notification states, “The date of draw of lots for Admission in Std 1 scheduled on 23rd April, 2021 has been postponed due to unprecedented rise in COVID-19 cases in the country.”
The first provisional merit list and waiting list for the registered candidates was scheduled to be released tomorrow. Based vacancies left after the first list, the second and third merit list would have been released on April 30 and May 5, 2021, respectively. But now, KV Class 1 admission list 2021-22 has been delayed. So, the second and third list may also be postponed.
The registration process for KVS Class 1 admission was started on April 1, 2021 and ended on April 19, 2021. The admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya 2021-22 is offered based on priority and lottery system.
What after the release of Kendriya Vidyalaya admission list 2021-22?
After the first KV admission list, parents/guardians of selected students need to submit the KV admission form 2021-22 and all the original documents at respective KVs. Failing in submission of original documents will lead to cancellation of admission.

Passport Size photo of the child

Residence Proof SC/ST/OBC certificate

EWS/BPL certificate

An affidavit in the case of Single Girl Child

Service certificate of employee

A proof of the relationship of child’s parents with grandparents.
