KVS registration begins today; know how to register

NEW DELHI, March 1: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started the online registration process for class 1 today i.e. March 1, 2019 at 8 am in the morning. Parents seeking admission of their children in KVs can register online on the official website. The official link for the online registration window is provided below. Parents must go through the instructions and know the steps to register for KVS admission. The last date to apply is March 19, 2019.
The registrations for Classes 2 and onwards (except class XI) will begin from April 2, 2019 (8 am) in the offline mode while the registration process for the Class 11 will begin immediately after Class 10 result.
KVS will release the admission list of selected candidates on March 26, 2019 and if the seats remain vacant, the second and third will be published on April 9 and 23, 2019 respectively.
Steps to register on KV for class 1

Visit the official website: https://kvsonlineadmission.in/index.html

On the page, click on ‘New registration’.

Click on back to instructions, read all the instructions carefully and click on the checkbox provided at the end.

Press the ‘Proceed’ button.

It will open a new registration window.

Enter the required details in the appropriate fields and click on ‘Register’.
Remember these points while registering

Registration is open only for admission to class 1.

Fill all the information in English only.

The age of the child should be between 5 to 7 years old.

Information entered once cannot be modified after submitting.

The mobile number entered will be used for all communication, so enter carefully.

Date of Birth of child should be entered in the format: DD-MM-YY.
Admission to 1199 Kendriya Vidyalayas across India and abroad will be conducted in two phases. In phase 1, a lottery draw will be done for the 25% reserved seats under RTE (Right to Education) and the remaining seats are filled using the existing priority category system in the second phase.
