Madhya Pradesh cancels MP Board Class 10 exam, postpones 12th exams

Download NowNEW DELHI: Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has canceled the MP Board Class 10 exams 2021. The board also announced the postponement of the MP Class 12 exams until further notice. The decision was taken by the board in view of the exponential rise in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country.
The official tweet by MP School Education Department stated, “Keeping in view the severity of corona infection, the Board of Secondary Education will not conduct the 10th examination. A copy of the circular for the preparation of examination results of regular and self-students is attached.”

According to the official notice, the MP board 10th result 2021 will be declared on the basis of internal assessment. The evaluation criteria have also been released by the board. As the MP board 12th exam 2021 has been postponed, the authorities have also informed us to notify the new dates 20 days prior to the exam.

The performance in the following exams will be taken into account for the assessment of Class 10 results.
- Half-yearly exams
- Pre-board exams
- Unit tests
- Internal assessments

The MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams were scheduled to begin on April 30 and May 1, 2021, respectively. Earlier, many other educational boards, including CBSE had canceled the Class 10 exams. The MP Board has previously decided to evaluate MP Board Class 10 result per the CBSE norms.
